A Day Out With Thomas The Tank On The Watercress Line

This is a fantastic family event; The Watercress Line invites you, your family and friends to enjoy a 'Day out with Thomas' from the 8 - 16 August 2009! The Watercress Line advise that you arrive before lunch to make the most of your 'Day out with Thomas'. Trains travel through 10 miles of beautiful Hampshire countryside through the four stations of: Alresford ### Ropley ### Medstead & Four Marks ### Alton.

Your travel ticket includes:

• Freedom to travel all day on steam hauled trains or 'Daisy' the diesel railcar.
• Trains run approximately every 30-40 minutes from 9.35am to 4pm. (last round trip at 2.43pm)
• FREE short rides with 'Diesel' (at Alresford station), 'Thomas', 'Percy' and 'Toad' (at Ropley station).
• FREE 'live' entertainment with Mr. Wizard shows and a bouncy slide on Ropley picnic area.Look out for 'Sir Topham Hatt, The Fat Controller' and other characters.
• FREE colouring competition and 'Thomas' videos showing at Medstead & Four Marks station and Alresford station.
• See 'Bulgy' the bus and a friend of 'Trevor' the traction engine on static display in front of Alresford station.
