Gosport MP to put duck house in charity auction

Disgraced Hampshire MP Sir Peter Viggers has announcce that he will auction his notorious duck house for charity. The £1,600 pond ornament was thrust into the spotlight after it was revealed Sir Viggers paid for it using the money he had claimed on MP's expenses. Although the Stockholm duck house would normally only be expected to fetch a few hundred pounds if sold second-hand, there is a real possibility this particular one may go for far more for if collectors want something from the MPs' expenses scandal.

Apparently more than a dozen local charities have asked Sir Peter to donate the duck house. He said: "I've replied to the dozen or so people that have enquired that my wife and I are minded, in due course, to sell the thing for charity. "But in the present atmosphere we are letting the dust settle. We've had a lot of approaches and we aren't committing to this yet."

It does however seem the RIGHT thing to do !!!!
