Duck Is Off The Menu

A duck has become a main attraction at a restaurant in Hampshire and not because it is served up with a rich plum sauce. Crispie, is the adopted name of an Aylesbury duck, which has become a regular fixture at The Mill at Gordleton in Hordle, near Lymington, restaurant owner Liz Cottingham said. Initially the duck was taken in by Terri Seabright, The Mill's manager, in August 2007 when her Crispie's mother abandoned her.

Ms Cottingham was quoted in the local press as saying : "I have people calling to book a table and asking, 'Is Crispie going to be there?'" . She continued: "When I say no, they say they will come tomorrow instead.

and in closing said; "Terri has to leave half an hour before she intends to because people just keep stopping her to talk to the duck."

Everyone really thinks; "Crispie is really cute and little kids just adore her.

Just dont mention the a'lorange sauce !!!
