Boat Show Success

By the end of the week, it is expected at least 130,000 people will have been on site to see the 1,000 boats on display and to buy anything from sailing clothes to an £11 million super-yacht.

With ticket sales approximately 23% ahead of last year the organisers think that that this year's Southampton Boat Show may mark the beginning of the much-needed upturn for the industry.

Both large and small exhibitors at the show are demonstrating their increasing confidence by launching 65 new products this year, which is a significant increase on recent years.
